Industry and academia can engage with ElectroCat through a combination of competitively selected DOE-funded projects along with standard national lab partnerships, such as Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs).

Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) awards will require recipients to submit their results to the ElectroCat online data repositories, but will also provide recipients access to resources within ElectroCat at minimal cost. Additionally, the Consortium will generate short-form agreements that can rapidly engage industry through standard partnerships, such as CRADAs and Strategic Partnership Projects.
